"Balancing nutrition, physical activity, and self-care for the benefit of our bodies."
Meet Milaena
Hi my name is Milaena Ferrarese, I am from New York, and I am currently completing my dietetic internship and MS at Illinois State University. I obtained my Bachelors at the University of New Hampshire, but my passion for nutrition and dietetics started well before those amazing four years. Growing up in an Italian household, good food was always present and I have always had a huge appreciation for it. I love to cook and bake almost all of my meals because nothing makes me happier than experimenting in the kitchen. A few things I enjoy along with nutrition are working out, educating athletes on performance nutrition, and spending quality time with the people I love. My goal for this blog is to motivate people, and help them find their own balanced body.

Meet Emily
Hello everyone! My name is Emily Kearney, and I am from Denver, Colorado. I am currently working towards my MS in nutrition and completing my dietetic internship at Illinois State University. I received my Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics at Colorado State University. Being from Colorado, I love to be outside hiking, running, and fishing. I enjoy cooking, trying new food, and experiencing new restaurants. My passion in nutrition is to work with children. I want to teach parents and their children how to live a healthy lifestyle by educating them about nutritious food choices and the importance of exercise. I believe that nutrition education should be implemented at a young age to promote a healthy lifestyle. My goal for this blog is to emphasize the importance of living a balanced life that contributes to a person’s overall health.
